Does anyone belong to a mom's group that you really like? Do you have activities and speakers? Is it a mix of working moms and SAHMs?
My son was in Mommy and Me at The Little Gym in Middletown NY which was great. Your local CYO might have a Mommy and Me group. Hope this helps!
Hello, I am in Orange County NY - there are few clubs out there - not sure where in OC you are, but Goshen has a Moms Club chapter as wells a Warwick Moms Club and I believe Newburgh too - those are kinda regulated with a president and membership coordinator, things like that thats called the MomsClub which you can google and find the main site, then find the local chapters... there are a few other clubs of just mothers spending time together.. you can find them on meetup.com easily.

Just joined a mom's group for the Orange County NY area and it seems to be a mix of both working mom's and SAHMs. We've only had one get together and trying to work on next one. If you like take a look at the site at www.meetup.com, should be able to track it down by zipcode or Orange County New York Mom's day off.

There is also a MOMS Club of Monroe which includes moms from Monroe, Chester, Washingtonville, Greenwood Lake, and Central Valley. They meet on the first Tues of the monthh at the Calvary Assembly of God Church I(the club isn't religious) at 9:30. They offer activities for kids and for moms. It's a good social network if you are looking for an inexpensive option to get you out of the house and meeting other moms.
