My 3 year old recently started pre-school. I have had a hard time finding stores that specialize in school uniforms. He usually wears a size 4t to size 4. Anyone have any idea where I can go to find stores that sells a large varity of School uniforms.
I had some difficulty with finding uniforms for my daughter when you started preschool. After searching several stores, I've started ordering her uniforms from the frenchtoast.com website. They have a nice variety and their ordering and shipping process works very well.
Kids for less on Grandriver just before Beech Daly. there is also a kids for less on coolidge and 9 mile.
I buy my daughters uniforms from FrenchToast.com.

When my son went to elementary/pre-school, I was able to shop at Value World on Kelly Road & 10 Mile in Eastpointe for the really good values on uniforms. True they have been used, but the way kids grow so fast, you can't go wrong. They clean the clothes there & hang them nicely according to sizes.
Also, every year at registration time, St. Anne school in Warren on Mound has a sale on used uniforms. It was a wonderful idea since we were paying so much for tuition, who could afford brand new uniforms every couple of months as the children grow. What's nice is you can take them back there when the kids are done with them also!

I purchase my children's uniforms at Mr. Allen's. I believe there is one in Southfield.
Try Lands End (catalog sales) or there is a store on Plymouth Road (?).
Have you tried rainbow? They have lots of uniforms for the little kids.
You can get uniforms at Target, JCPenney and there is a uniform store on John R just north of 11 mile Rd in the strip mall just past Save a Lot. And FKO in Oak Park (9mile & Coolidge) has uniforms.
There is a web site where I have gotten my daughters uniforms for VERY reasonable prices, but I can't think of it right now. I will post it when I remember.
I found some school uniform items for my grandkids at TJMaxx and AJ Wright, of course with those stores it is hit or miss. Sears also sells uniforms.
Kids For Less in Northland Mall on 8 Mile Rd. has many diff. colors and styles of uniforms.

Although it is somewhat expensive, we buy some of our school uniform at a store called School Belles. I shop at the one located in Westland, at the cornder of Wayne and Warren Roads, however, I know they have other locations. They carry uniforms for all metro detroit schools. What a selection!! If you are just looking for the basics, i.e. navy blue or khaki pants, polo shirts, etc., I would try going on line at Target or J.C. Penney. When you go into the stores, everything is picked over and it's hard to find your sizes. Good luck B..
