My 14 year old can not pass the Math Taks Test, she has been held back in the 5th grade. I'm looking for someone to help tutor her and make her ready for the 8th grade and the Taks Test.

Try the high shcool- they may have a lsit of kids that can help- maybe she will realate to them better than an adult- I have a 13 yr old and 17 yr old math wiz- He can help as well-
it comes real easy for him- just hang in there and keep her academic skills going through the summer- as much as she will hate it- it will be worth it-

Inquire at the school- to see if your district has a list of tutors. You could ask the school counselor about this.
If the district does not have a list, then ask her math teacher if she knows of any math tutors.
Get her help now- she will forget so much over the summer.
