Hello moms:

I am looking for evening water aerobics classes to attend as I am almost 7 months pregnant in the Frisco/McKinney/Plano areas.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you to everyone that responded with options for prenatal water aerobics. I am starting with Plano Medical Center to see if they still have the classes available/not, so we'll see..

I appreciate everyone's kind words as well about my pregnancy.... Thanks moms!

The McKinney senior citizen's center has an indoor pool and they have water aerobics every single day of the week and on Saturday's as well I believe. My mom goes 2x a week on Tues & Thursday. You don't have to be a Sr. to attend the classes. You can look them up on the McKinney Parks and Rec site.

We go to Lifetime Fitness and they have great water aerobic classes there. I have had several friends go to Medical of Center of Plano, they have specifically prenatal water aerobics classes there -at least they did a couple of years ago. Good Luck.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! i pray that everything is going well!!

i know that Medical Center of Plano offers water aerobics in their aquatic center and what a great place to go to!! you could call the hospital to find out more about thier water aerobics classes. we delivered our first baby girl there in 2003. wished we had returned the second time around...

anyways, i don't know if they offer discount for their classes if you deliver there but it's worth asking. make sure you get a doctor's prescription saying it's alright to attend the class. i remember i had to get a script for a prenatal massage--which i never got and need everso badly! LOL

best wishes on your pregnancy!!

Check out the city of allens park n Rec. I think it's www.cityofallen.org. If not just google it. The natatorium offers water class's. I justed to take them all the time there. They are great. There is one that is perfect for prenatal. It's on Tue & Thurs. at 6pm. It's not a true prenatal class but it's low impact and a lot of PG women take the class. I just delivered 3 wks ago. I had hoped to take the class myself but was not allowed to exercise while being PG.

Hope your pregnancy is going smoothly.
