You can purchase anything here in the good ol USA. As consumers we always see "Made in Japan" "Made in China" etc, but in other countries how often do consumers see "Made in the USA"? I have traveled over seas many times when I was younger, but have never really paid any attention.
This question is more of me wanting to know information than anything.

Yes you can...it's called READING and not going for the cheapest price you can get. The word QUALITY also comes to mind.
Our main exports are not retail products. I would be very surprised if other countries saw "made in USA" on anything. We do pay to get made in USA products, whenever we can. It's not cheap. Of course, that is completely backwards. Such is life.

The reason things from Nina are so cheap is that they can take any product and duplicate it very cheaply.

I had a heck of a time finding ANY set of everyday dishes made ANYWHERE but China (didn't want Corelle or Fiestaware).
But, I did find dishes made in Portugal at Target, New Balance shoes made in Vietnam at Kohls and some articles of clothing made in the USA at Macy's. USA stuff IS out there but you really have to look.
You might see it more in Canada - that's a big and convenient export market. Otherwise, unless you go industrial, then you won't see much 'Made in the USA' in other countries. It's much the same for a lot of western, developed countries.
The reason all countries have Made in China stuff is becaue China uses small children for CHEAP labor, thus making things cheaper for all countries to buy, coupled with poor quality materials the majority of the time. So NO, other countries will not have many things Made in the USA because it would be too expensive for most people.
I don't know what other countries labeling laws are.
There is a Made in USA store that sells only things exclusively totally made and packaged completely in the USA.

Most of the toys, little junk for kids, clothing and PC parts and much more are mostly made in China since labor in there is cheaper (for many reasons we all know H.).Overseas?: the same . It used to be that time when many goods were made in USA and export to many countries, but not anymore (we know that too and why)......sad thing, but it is reality. Take a look at "How American can buy American", it is an interesting article.
I'm in Canada and my van was made in the USA.
ETA: My mistake, the Dodge Grand Caravan is made in Canada. My Dodge Caliber may have been made in the US but I can't find that info.
When I was living in Japan, I noticed that a lot of products were Made in China or Made in Thailand over there. Nothing was really Made in the USA, though.

@Sherrie - the first number in your VIN will tell you what country your vehicle was made in ... a 2 is Canada, a 1 is US, pretty sure 3 is Mexico
