You need to talk with your doctor and tell them you need to understand your results. They MUST explain them to you.

The Western Blot test does NOT test for Lyme Disease. It tests for the antibodies your body is producing. My neighbor has lyme disease and a very good friend of mine has lyme disease...it sucks.

"Western Blot Bands description (note: cross-reactive means it could indicate other spirochetes, specific means it ONLY happens when Lyme disease is present. Borrellia or Bb is Lyme disease.)"

IND means indeterminite. A negative means the antibodies are not present. A positive means that antibodies are present. IGM reactions usually happen first (recent infection), IGG is something longer term.

Your doctor should take the time to explain to you why she or he thinks this test result doesn't mean anything.
