Looking for White Iron Twin Bed

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who sells a selectio of white iron beds in the DFW area? I'm more comfortable making a big purchase like this when I can see what I am getting, as opposed to over the Internet. However, if you have had good luck purchasing furniture online, I'd like to hear your recommendations. I am interested in an iron twin bed for my daughter, who is about to outgrow her crib.

What can I do next?

Since Pier 1 Kids is no longer around, I'd highly recommend JCPenney online. I think you'll be very satisfied with the quality and the price. Take care.

I bought a pretty one from Pottery Barn Kids. It looks just like the picture in the catalog. My other daughter had an antique one that I used when I was a kid.

I just purchased an iron twin bed from Wesley Allen and have been very pleased with the product. Mine is in a finish called Aged Steel. There are a few retailers in the DFW area, so you could go and take a look at the bed, but I believe you'll get a better price ordering it on-line. Also, if you look at Wesley Allen's website, they actually have a larger selection of twin beds that what is listed on-line.

You should check Craigslist. I have seen quite a few white iron beds lately if you don't mind used. Most sellers will let you come look at the item before you purchase it so you know what you are getting, and you can save a lot of money buying second hand.

Hi, mi name is M., and I seen not rooms to go or room store carry those Iron beds, well Rooms to go have a couple but in brown, so here is my suggestion usmatress.com
They have a wide selection of white iron beds, they deliver free shipping and no tax and what is best you can buy the matress from them, I had bought a bed to them, and I was very happy with the service, they deliver the product in the door of your house.
I hope this helps.

Pottery Barn, Weir's Furniture, and the Room Store will all have selections. Even if they don't have it in stock, they can order it and there shouldn't be a problem returning it, if you don't like it.

You might also consider a daybed. Since your daughter is transitioning, it would give her one built-in side to keep her from rolling out of the bed. You could either put a rail on the other side, or pull out the trundle, if it has one, to catch her on that side. I often see daybeds with trundles for sale on Craig's List.

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for but I was just in THe White Elephant this past weekend and they had a gorgeous antique cream colored Iron twin bed for $3??.00 (threehundred something)which is not a bad price. If you are interested in an antique, The White Elephant is located in Dallas on Industrial Blvd, near the design district. Happy hunting!

Try Stacy's Furniture in Grapevine. When my daughter, now 7, outgrew her crib and was ready for her "big girl bed", we found one there. There is a children's section on the first floor with many beds to choose from. We chose a white, iron daybed and added a trundle for future sleepovers, etc. She still loves her bed!
