Hi. I am looking to redecorate my daughter's bedroom. Anyone know of a wall muralist/painter that won't break the bank (I know these services can get pricey).

What can I do next?

My cousin is a graphic artist and has painted my daughters' rooms. I asked him to paint their names in their rooms, but he has also done "garden type scenery" throughout. He has a portfolio which he can share with you. Basically, you can show him something and he can replicate it for you. He does a great job! We highly recommend him! Here is his information:

Hi,
My cleaner (from Poland) is actually an accomplished artist who trained at the Fine Arts School in Kracow. She has done many wall murals and faux finishes for clients, and doesn't charge nearly as much as those who do it full time. I think she charges based on the full job rather than by the hour. I would be happy to put you both in touch with each other. She has photos of her work and last year did a child's nursery.

My husband does this on the side. He did Winnie the Pooh on my daughters walls and Blue's clues on my niece's wall. What are you wanting to get done and how big of a space?

Hello R.,
My son is an artist and has painted a number of wall murals. His name is Zebadiah and he just turned 15 years old. He is a student at Mather High School and just completed his 2nd year in an art program at UIC. He would not over charge and would surely tell you if the type of design you desire is not within his experience. Please email us if you would like to discuss your need further.
With Warm Regards,
P.

Hi R.,
I'm sorry but I don't know of a wall muralist. But I thought I'd respond anyway with another idea since you don't want to "break the bank".
You can get some stencils from an art supply store to help create a design on the wall. We did our son's room in this way, and it looks very nice.

Hi R.!
I may be able to help! I am not in business yet, but hope to at some day start my own. I truly have the marketing plan done, name picked out and everything--it's just a matter of waiting until we do not rely so much on my regular income to quit and get started. Anyway, I can email you pics of my girls rooms so you can see some of my work (I've also done a neighbor boys room), but I would love to chat with you! I'm right in Brookfield and not being a formal business yet am looking for breaks to get started. I promise I wouldn't break the bank for you! Let me know--
