I am looking for a school in the Area of coral Springs, Coconut Creek, or Margate.

I used to send her to New Adventures but after coming from vacation they don't have availability.

I live in Sample & 441 (just behind the Lexus Dealer).

Any suggestions and or recommendations are very welcome. Is it better to go to a private school or public. ??
I want to visit the Trade winds elementary Johnsons in C.Creek but don't have a clue of it.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Dearest all.

Just to let you know that today I found a preschool for my daughter. After I visited 4 pre-K today I went to Learning Adventures Preschool. (Wiles and Coral Springs Dr.)
Let me tell you.
The plaza where it is located is beautiful. The school is not huge but very very well organized, extremely clean, and lots of toys, colors and happy faces.

My daughter ran to the garden and started looking at the plants they grow there. Meanwhile, I visited the school with Ms. Laura.

I have NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT.

The 2.6 yr. old class was on the Geography class. In another they were having snacks and it was a yogurt YOBABY. Couldn't believe it.They also have a nursery, with beautiful cribs, swings, baby sits, toys and more...
MY little one started waiving her hand to go and play. There she was. Crawling on the floor.

Their curriculum is very interesting. They are the winners of the Goal Seal Award. Want more? They put a lot of emphasis in math, social studies, science and languages. The main learning area is divided into 4 themes. They have a girl's & boy's restroom. (in the other, they had one for all.) Don't know other schools.

And to put an end let me tell you this. They have drop in services for PT or FT. (besides the reg. classes as from 6m.)

And you won't believe. They have Childcare available during Saturdays and Sundays. And evening care available (hourly fee) from 6 till mid night. For me it's great. My friends live in SOBE or Aventura, and my family is in Argentina. This means that no matter what I have to do, the girls have to come with me. So, if I have to make my doctor's appointment, go for a coffee, shopping or sleep without interruption I can send both there. And of course, I am planning a dinner for me and my husband. Since my first was born, we never again went out together ALONE.

It is not extremely expensive. IT is cheaper than New Adv. Everything is nice. I am really happy and look forward to starting on Wed. (so I can prepare everything tomorrow). I will keep you posted, but if sb. in interested email me. Their website is: www.learningadventurespreschool.com
It doesn't have a lot of info, but I can give you a lot.

Thanks to everyone for your help, Everything has been super and I really appreciate your generosity.

Oxford academy (day care) is very good. They are in Coral Springs where the Burlington coat factory is. My daughter has been going there for 4 years. As far as elementary schools, anything in Coconut creek is good. You have Winston Park, Tradewind and Coconut Creek elementary. Good Luck.

M.,
My son has not attended preschool as of yet, but I have heard wonderful things from 2 different schools (my friends children have gone to both and get rave reviews). The first one is in Coral Springs and it is called "Discovery" (I believe it is on Wiles and C.S. Drive) and the other (I am looking to put my 2 year old son) is Primary Learning and it is located on Sandalfoot and 441.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck
J. :)

TRADEWINDS is an excellent school, my niece/daughter now, went there for Head start and the teachers were extremely great! She now attends Margate elem. but parking & picking up at this school is crazy! I am seriously thinking of using open enrollment to have my child back at TradeWinds.
Good Luck!

Check out Discovery Pre-School in Coconut Creek-just north of you on 441 after you go under the Sawgrass Expwy. My daughter will be 4 on March 1st and really seems to enjoy it.
