Looking for Quick and Easy Party Recipes

I am looking for a few quick and easy recipes for a memorial day party. All recipes I come up with require refrigeration. Looking mainly for "finger food" and dessert recipes.

This is so simple, fun, and colorful! Take pretzels, put one M&M on top and place on a cookie sheet. Put in the oven just long enough for the M&M to melt a little so it will stick to the pretzel. Then let them cool. I love making these because they're quick, easy, and cheap! People love them! It's that whole sweet and salty thing...great party food! :)

C.,

I like to make sausage in puff pastry. I take our favorite type of sausage(links) and roll them in puff pastry. Place in the oven at 400degrees until the pastry turns golden brown. If you don't know how to use this pastry email I will give further instructions. I like to put a sweet finger food out. I am Cajun so I like beingnets. You can buy the mix at most grocery stores. I change the topping from piles of powdered sugar to an icing. This way little children do not run the risk of choking on the sugar when they go to eat one of these. I place about 3 cups of powdered sugar in a bowl and mix with 2 tbls of heavy whipping cream. Blend. Keep adding cream until you get the icing to the consistancy that you like. Since it is Memorial Day you could blend the icing with red and blue food coloring to make it festive with patriotic sprinkles.

Good luck with your party!!!!

I always get rave reviews when I make this one, and it's usually gone before you have to worry about refrigerating it.

Hot Broccoli Cheese Dip

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1 env. GOOD SEASONS Italian Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix (I use Ranch or Fiesta Ranch)
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, well drained
1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix cream cheese, sour cream and salad dressing mix with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add broccoli and 1-1/2 cups of the Cheddar cheese; mix well.
SPOON into 9-inch pie plate.
BAKE 20 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining Cheddar cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve as a dip with NABISCO Crackers.

I serve with Wheat Thins.

I love this quick easy snack for parties....

spread out several mini (unsalted) pretzels on a cookie sheet.
Place a ROLO (chocolate/caramel candy)on top each pretzel. Place in pre-heated (350) oven for 1 minute and 45 seconds exactly!!! As soon as you take them out push an almond down flat into the center of each rolo. Let cool until hard...(quicker in freezer, about 10 minutes) ENJOY!!

Try some hummus with crudite or tortilla chips. Both will keep well outside.
