Looking for Prepaid College Fund Options
Hi Moms,
I am interested in setting up a prepaid college program for my son. I want to know what other moms have for their children. I want to be aware of the different options out there and pick the best one. Thank you to everyone that responds.

Hello:
We used a financial adviser who gave us tons of information and options. He comes to you whenever you have the time. He is great. Never any pressure, just loads of information. Please feel free to call him. His name is Peter Nathan and his number is ###-###-####. His office is located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL...BUT will travel anywhere to make it easier for you. Day or night (for us he comes to our house at night because both of us work). Give him a shot......it doesn't cost a thing and you learn more than you could image. If you have questions, just email me back or call him. Good Luck. We started when our son was about 6 months so you are on the right track now.....and will start again when our little girl is born in January.

Dear C. S,
I purchased the Florida Pre-Paid College fund for my children. I also purchased a dorm policy for both my kids. It's reasonably priced and by the time your son is 18 , it will benefit him if he plans to attend a college in Florida. You also have financial aid , if he's grades are excellent or he has a sport he excels in.
I'm starting the recruiting process with my kids who are in 10th grade.
I hope this helps.
If you need more feedback, let me know.
Sincerely,
G. H.

Hi C.,
I am a SAHM to a 6 month old boy :) We just did the 4 year tuition and differential fee for him. We did it through www.florida529plans.com. We are praying for a scholarship to cover the rest (room & board, etc.) Any questions, let me know! :)

I did the Fl Prepaid and really like how flexible it is. You can pay for tuition and room and board, or just tuition. You can pay over time, or as one lump sum. And you can pay for as many semesters as you want...
I just did tuition, but I think I will add 1 year of room and board soon.
I can tell you that it's a big relief to have the tuition paid for...
