Hi,
My first baby, a little girl, is due November 7th and I still need to find a pediatrician for her. We live in Tualatin and would like some recommendations or advice on finding one. Oregon Pediatrics and The Children's Clinic here in Tualatin would be convient for us but a quality doctor is the most important.

What can I do next?

Hi,
We live in Tualatin also. We use Olson Pediatric Clinic in the Lake Grove portion of Lake Oswego. It is about a 10-15 minute drive. We LOVE our doctor (Donald Palmer), but I am not sure if he is taking new patients (although if he was, it would be people in your situation with brand new babies, so you can ask). There are others in the clinic that are taking new patients. The number is ###-###-#### and it is on Boones Ferry. Good luck!

I also see Sara Cannon at the Children's Clinic and LOVE her. I agree with the other poster that whenever we visit I feel like all her attention is on us. I never feel rushed. We see her for all our well-baby checks, but I do think she's busy as I can't usually get in to see her on a last minute appointment. I have been happy with all the doctor's that I have seen at that clinic, though. And the advice nurse line is a godsend.

I can't say enough about Dr. Sara Cannon at the Children's Clinic in Tualatin. She isn't just a doctor, but a counselor. She is earth mother incarnate, but simply shares her views with you without pressuring you and will just sit in the room with you until any or all questions have been answered. In fact, you wouldn't even know she had a room full of patients waiting for her attention because you are the complete focus of her attention. She's just wonderful!

Hi E.,

We have taken our son, Logan, now two to the Children's Clinic in Tualatin and have had a great experience. We take our son to Dr David Armsby and we have enjoyed seeing him. The great thing about that location is that they have evening and weekend hours just in case. Any doctor we have seen during off hours has been great as well. Even the advice nurses are very helpful when you need help with a question during those first few weeks of motherhood. I would definitely recommend going in for a consultation visit with a few of the doctors to see who you feel most comfortable with. Good Luck!

i take all my kids to see sara cannon at the childrens clinic in tualatin on the back side of meridian park hospital off of 65th. i love her and over the 4 years have seen all the doctors in the office and love them all. she is very noligable and not forceful on giving your child meds if not necessary. I have a 4year old girl 2 year old girl and 9 month old boy. my middle child had kidney reflux and also has some speech delay and she has been great and i am very confident with all her advice. ###-###-#### is the office number. you can call the office and set up a pre-baby appt with her or whatever doc you choose. they also have a web-site www.childrens-clinic.com the office also has evening and weekend hours. kids don't care about the office hours of 8-5. I am a happily married woman of three kids and i am just turned 28. i was your age when my first daughter was born.
