Looking for Pediatrician

I am looking for a new pediatrician as the current one is not very responsive or compassionate as I hoped. The earlier referrals with St. Lukes group is not possible as they currently are not taking new pts. I have a 21 month old with a not so common metabolic disorder...any other referrals out there? Has anyone heard anything about a Dr. Epstein who works in CWE? That is kind of far for me. I live in the Maryland Hts area. Thanks very much

L., Dr. Isabel Rosenbloom, DePaul Medical Bldg. is terrific! My daughter really likes her. Takes her 3 yr old son. I've taken him before and she's very friendly and has time for you when you have questions.

I've heard good things about the pediatric practice at Barnes Jewish. My son's daycare teacher's daughter has a rare kidney disease and she sees Dr. Ruby at Barnes. I don't actually know his/her first name, but I remember she recommended those doctors to me when we first moved here (unfortunately, they're not in my network, so we go somewhere else).

Our pediatrician is Dr. Joel Koenig, with Town & Country Pediatrics. He is a pediatrician as well as a neonatalogist, and is not only very intelligent, but very nice also. He never rushes us and is quite reassuring, but doesn't write-off our concerns, either. His office is in MO-Bap and they have a well-visit as well as a sick-visit waiting room.

Dr. Gerry Deschamps (female) is in the Esse Health building off of Grahm/Hanley and Dunn road. Behind the 7-11. She has background in working in ER under Pediatrics. Great doctor. I have all three kids of mine with her.

I take my girls to Northwest Pediatrics. They have 3 offices. The closest one to Maryland Hgts would be the St. Charles office, which is not that far now that the Page Extension is open. The have a new office right at the Page extension and Hwy. 94. I take both of my girls to Dr. Robert J. Hoffman. He's wonderful. The office number is ###-###-#### if interested.

We LOVE our Doctor (and those in her practice, too) Her name is Jan Mueller of Kids Docs on Olive. She is VERY compassionate and concerned with special needs/illnesses. As I said, We LOVE her and drive a ways, but she's worth it!!

We go to Dr. Julia Young with Docs 4 Kidz and she has been great! She is located in Sunset Hills on Lindbergh. She has small children of her own so she really understands more than just the medical point of view. Her father in Dr. Paul Young, one of the most well known nuerologist in this area, so she comes from a family of doctors.

I have an 8 year old daughter and I live in South County and work in Maryland Heights. I moved from St. Peters and searched high and low for a good doc. I got a referral from my OB that I have been going to FOREVER and I was very pleased at the referral he gave me. I also wanted my daughter to go to a woman as girls are growing up and changing and females understand that a little better. Her names is Dr. Linda Tackes, she is located on Lindbergh, near Hwy. 55, it's about a 20 minute drive for you. Honestly she is very responsive to my opinions and concerns and I have very, very pleased. My friend takes her kids to a doc at Olive and 270, I could get more info if you like me too.
