Looking for Help for Single Pregnant Mother of Two..

There is a website that one of the other mothers told me about. Freecycle.org. They have all kind of things and it is absolutely free. I may be able to donate 50.00 to her by the end of this week. Give me a second to see. Let me know where I can send it. Also does she know what she is having. If it is a boy, please let me know I have some clothes for the baby.

I feel so terribly bad for what happened to your niece. Please call ANY and ALL local churches in her area and I am sure they can help !!! I work for a church, but it is located in Lincoln Park, and I know that a church that really cares about its patrons, the community, CAN and will help your niece. You need to get this message out to everyone and anyone that might be able to help !!! Please let me know if there is anything I can do. I am a single mother with a 2 1/2 year old daughter, otherwise I would be able to offer you some clothes / shoes etc....but I only have baby clothes up to size 2T.

How old are her children? I have some boys clothing - age/size 6-8 and some girls clothing - 10-12 or XL. I'm sure that I could find some other things as well. Any details would be helpful.

I belong to an on line group called freecycle.org. Basically it is set up for people to get rid of what they don't want while people who could use those things get what they need. I have seen situations in the past similar to what you are looking for. The only thing is that they usually ask that you offer something before you ask for something. I am not sure what you are able to do in that area, but it could be something as simple as clothes that you no longer use, or the unused strawberry foot scrub that you got as a gift two years ago that is just taking up space in your linen closet.
She may evev be able to find household things (furniture, plates, silverware) I hope this helps. As a mom who just had her 2nd child last week, I can't imagine what she is going through.

Try the United Way website. They have listings of most charities in the area. Specifically look at the local site. There should be a place where you can put in a Chicago zip code to access the local United Way. I hope this helps.

Can you tell me her sizes and her childrens clothing sizes and ages?
