Hi! I have an active 16 month old girl and we are going nuts waiting for the warm weather to return! This week is supposed to be the first nice weather in a while and I am serching for some fun places to play outside. Any suggestions for parks or even neighborhood playgrounds would be great! I love the ones that offer baby swings and things to play on for the little ones. (So no "big kid" equipment). We live in Duncanville but I would go as far as Arlington to find a great place to bring my daughter to play outside. Thanks so much!!

What can I do next?

Hi, here is a link to Dunlop Sports Center: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&a...=
My kids absolutely love it there. We call it the wooden playground, because the playarea is mainly made up of wood. There're tons of trees, and a toddler area. It's actually quite far from my house, so it's kind of a special treat when we go there. Hope this helps!

There use to be a toddler park in Ovilla and I know there is one is Desoto that has a toddler park and its even shaded. Let me know if you would like to know where it is.

I also live in Duncanville, and when my siblings and I were younger, we loved to go to Kidsville. Also, there's Lion's Park in Duncanville.... Kidsville is usually packed and would probably make it difficult to watch your daughter, but there's Lion's Park is pretty small and not that many people go there.

If you are willing to drive to Mansfield there is a great new park off Hwy 157 by the post office. There are different sections for different age groups and a nice walking trail like a greenbelt.

Hi E.! My name is A., and we live in Cedar Hill. I have 2 girls, 5 and 3, and they LOVE going to the playground in Cedar Hill. It is a wooden playground full of adventure for little ones. I am not sure of the exact address, but it is near Cedar Hill Recreation Center. Let me know if you need anymore info!!!
