Looking for Best Stroller for My Money
I am in the process of choosing a stroller for my baby due in August. I know I like trendy, light-weight strollers, hovewer the Peg Perego is so expensive and I have read some bad reviews on it. Can anyone suggest a great-looking, sturdy, reliable stroller that will work from newborn +

I had the Peg perego Aria which is lightweight and fairly compact but a little too bulky to carry up and down stairs and not a one hand open/close. When Noah was 5 months I bought a Maclaren triumph and I love it, its all we use now. I would suggest the Maclaren Techno xt it's a bit heavier but worth it, We're going to get one for the next baby. Good Luck. L., mom to Noah, 8 months.

J.,
I have a Graco MetroLite. I love my stroller. It's light, super-easy to fold and unfold, I can lift it out of the back of my SUV and unfold it with stuff in my hand. The basket on the bottome is nice and big, too. It's easy to get in and out of the basket, and my three year old is still comfortable in it. I'm on to baby #2 in it now, and it still looks like new. And it's under $150. You can get them at Target, Babies R Us, Baby Depot, Wal-Mart, and all of the little baby boutiques have them, too.
They come in a ton of different patterns, so take a look at the Graco website, pick out the pattern you like, and then you can even look up where near you sells your pattern. Most you can even order online. I got mine with the car seat as a travel system, and even got the matching pack N play and swing in the same fabric.
Definitely get a Graco.

i would have to say graco. it really doesn't matter which style, they're all pretty much easy to open and close (even with just 1 hand) and i think the majority of them have the travel system ones (that comes with the infant carseat). i'm adding in a link to babies r us and the one that we have. it's great, my daughter is too big for the carseat now, but the stroller is still great for her! i think the best part is that when they're still in the infant seat, it fits in the stroller, and faces you!

I have been told we have the "Rockstar" stroller. It is a bit expensive, but we LOVE it, and so does the baby. We have the Graco Quattro Tour™ Stroller (it was actually a part of a travel system, complete with carseat and base). We can change diapers in it, the baby can sleep in it, she can sit with shoulder straps or with out, it has plenty of places for your stuff, and it can hold a lot of shopping bags, that is the purpose of strollers isn't it? Just kidding. You can shop around and get deals sometimes at places like Burlington Coat Factory. Good luck.

I really love my Graco stroller that went with my car seat. It's not very trendy but what was nice about it was the car seat had a cover and it would touch the cover from the stroller, so if I was shopping I could close the baby in and let him sleep. Also he was facing me rather then out and I could see him much better. It was easy to put up and down. You can put it down with one hand. And it's not very heavy.

I got a jogging stroller at toys r us, you know, the ones with the huge front wheel, and two big side wheels. It folds up easily and it's lightweight, although it can be bulky at times.

Hi J.,
If you are able to hit the book store go and buy the book BABY BARGAINS by Denise & Alan Fields. It runs about $17.95. The book is wonderful! A co-worker of mine had the book that I borrowed and then I went and bought my own. I have recommended it to several friends. There is a section on strollers and the recommend the Combi line of strollers. They give Combi an A- rating. The book has all types of recommandations from car seats, cribs, bedding, clothes, diapers, high chairs, bottles, breast feeding, monitors, diaper pails, safety and so much more... This book saved us so much money. They say save at least $250 or your money back on the book with no questions asked.
Hope that you will check it out!
