Hi Moms! I need help quick! My son's birthday party is this Saturday (the 6th) and I was hoping for nice weather since I rented a pony. Unfortunately for us it looks like it is going to rain and I am freaking out b/c I have over 50 people coming. About 20 are young kids. So now I need a plan B. Our house is big enough to accommodate everyone but I'm looking for something to make my son's 1st birthday party memorable. I already bought the favors, cowboy hats, for all the kids to go along with the Pony theme. I would be so grateful for any suggestions! Thanks!

What can I do next?

You can buy the ponies on a stick that you walk/ride around on from the dallar store. Hope that helps. If I think of any thing else I send you an email.

You don't indicate where you live, so it's a little difficult to be specific. We had our son's 3rd birthday at a fire house, and it was FANTASTIC. For his 4th birthday, we rented a youth lounge" where he went to preschool, and we did a whole train theme. You also may be able to rent space at a VFW post or the like. We also have hosted or attended parties for kids that age at our local YMCA. Good luck.

A fun and affordable birthday party can be had at the Chester Springs Creamery in Lionville. It will totally work with you theme. They have a website you can check out. I had my son's 3rd birthday there 2 years ago. For 18 kids, I think I paid $78. The kids get to make their own sundaes. You can bring in additional food. If you wish to, you can pay for the adults' ice cream as well. If the weather is nice, you can tour the farm. If not, there is space within the creamery to play games (that's what we did since it rained in the beginning of April). Good Luck!
