I am looking for a Preschool in the Cranston/Warwick area. My son will be 3 in a couple of weeks and I would like to send him to school 2 or 3 mornings a week in September. Any suggestions on Preschools would be great. Also, advice on how many days I should send him a week (2 or 3) would be great.

What can I do next?

I would suggest Pumpkin Patch as well, or Western Cranston Learning Center on Natick Ave in Western Cranston. My son has been there the past 2 years and my 2 year old will be going next year when he turns 3. I sent my son 3 days his first year, and will do the same with my younger son next year.

My daughter does not go to school yet. But I have checked out some daycares. Pumpkin Patch is excellent but there is a waiting list most of the time. Give them a call and see.
There is a new one near marchetti's sp? the candy cane preschool.
and a safer start has really good reviews and they have web cams.

good luck.

Hi there,
I know you mentioned Cranston or Warwick but I use a great preschool on the East Side of Prov. It is a Parent Co-op so it is a little unique but I love being more involved with the school and actually helping out in the classroom approx 1x a month. They have a program for 3 year olds that meets MWF 9-12 and the teachers are fabulous. The school is Child's Play, ###-###-####, they rent space from Central Congregational Church on Angell Street. I know they have openings. My kids are 3 and 5.
Good luck,
M.

Check out Joyful Learning - I think they changed names and it's now called Discovery Years. My daughter went there and it is such a great, warm, clean place. It's on 117 in the AAA building - great facility, nice playground, indoor gross motor room, etc.

My son just turned 2 and we are introducing potty training. I will be sending him to Pumpkin Patch in Cranston on Comstock Pkwy. next year.
