Looking for a Pediatrician in Oak Lawn Area

I'm looking to switch to a new pediatrician for my son. He's almost 3 and his pediatrician now is great, except that we never see HIM. THis wouldn't be a problem for me except that the doctors at his practice keep changing and everytime we go there is someone new. They don't have convienent office hours either. I am a single mom who works full time so I'd like to find a practice that at least offers evening hours once a week.

Any suggestions and referrals would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I grew up in Oak Lawn but I don't know any pediatricians there. :(

However, my 3 kids go to Southwest Pediatrics and they have TWO offices. One is in Mokena where we go (we live in New Lenox) and the other is in Palos at the intersection of SW Hwy and Rt83. That isn't that far from Oak Lawn.

They are a WONDERFUL group of doctors. Dr. Grace Carreon is my MOST favorite. My least favorite is Dr. Harris but others do like him. There are 5 doctors total.

Hope this helps!

I've had the same doctor for my son since he was born at Christ in Oak Lawn. I go to Chicago Ped. at 85th and Cicero and they also have a office located either in Palos Hills or Heights and the hours are great. If the child is sick they can be seen the same day at either location, 24 hr on call docs and Saturday and late evening hours at both. Here is the number ###-###-#### and we see Dr.Zoe, but there are others and they are all great. Hope this helps.

Try Alzein Pediatrics at Little Company. You can request an appt with a specific doc as we do. Dr Alzein is great, also Dr Nikore, but her hours are very limited. We have had really good experience with them.

We also switched to Southwest Pediatrics (we go to the Palos one) and have been very pleased.

The hours are great and plentiful (8:00 -7:30 daily and Saturdays too, which was very important to us since both my husband and I have VERY busy schedules and long hours.

We have a 'primary' pediatrician (Dr. Belgrad - LOVE him) but when our kid is sick we really don't care who sees him. Our priority is getting him in as soon as possible and we've always been able to get in same-day.
