Hi Moms,

My daughters are 8 & 6 1/2. They have both been in gymnastics since they were 2. They now asked if they could take a break from gymnastics. I told them they could but they have to find another Physical activity to try. Do you moms have any suggestions? I already told them they could take riding lessons in the spring but I'm looking for something to do during the winter.

Thanks, K.

You can try ice skating at Grapevine Mills.

You could try ice skating. Most of the malls with rinks and all the DP Stars centers offer lessons.

My daughter takes year round riding lessons. Yes, it gets cold in the winter. But she loves her horses so much she doesn't care. It also teaches her responsibilty. We use the stables horses. However, she has to get it ready to ride and cleaned up after. She is also in girl scouts.
