I don't know how close you are to Adventure Kids in Flower Mound but they offer a short camp from 10-2. My kids have really enjoyed it. We go to the one in Plano. They have different weekly themes. Plus you only pay for the days that he would be there. You can look at there website at www.adventurekidsplaycare.com
Hope this helps

I'm not in Dallas anymore but I too have a 4 year old and summer camps usually want 5 year olds and up. I called a church camp and told them how mature and independent my daughter was and they allowed her to come. You may want to call around and talk to people if the age thing is a factor. However, if your child isn't able to handle being awake all day and constantly on the go, you may want to look into private daycares for him/her. I do know of kids who simply can't handle it and break down so often that the camps are considering asking them to leave. Good luck!
