Although my situation is different, I am a teacher about to become a SAHM due to daycare & gas costs. I'm not sure you could replace your income overnight, but it could ease things up a bit & it is something you could do in addition to any job you choose. I market for a health and wellness company. Basically, by telling others about the store I shop with, I make money. I love the products because they are safer for my kids and better for the earth. You can try www.teamdoubleclick.com. It's a virtual office assistant job at home. You can go to their website and find out all of the info you need. I do know that there is no cost up front, just some simple tests and they will place you with a client or clients. Hope this helps and good luck!

One thing you might look into would be to try to start your own online business. If you have a product that you're interested in that you could get from a wholesaler and sell on eBay or Yahoo Shopping. I did that with furniture for about 4 years. Ultimately it wasn't the answer as the "big guys" ended up taking over the internet for furniture and I couldn't compete. But I have seen some successful businesses online by finding the right product.

The other thing you could do would be to sell on consignment on eBay.

I'm looking for answers myself right now but haven't found the right fit yet. I'm not looking for anything where I have to get others to join a business in order to make money. I have tried so many of those and they are successful for many (my brother in law is an Emerald in USANA and is able to be home) but they don't seem to work for me.

It's so hard to be working when you'd rather be at home. I'm married but because of our business problems we had to file bankruptcy and sell our home and move back to the city from our lovely quiet country home.

I'm thankful I was able to get back with the corporate job I had making good money, but I'd still rather be home with my kids. Maybe we can stay in touch and help each other with ideas and encourage each other. :)

check out the forums on the message board at www.wahm.com and there is lots of info on companies that hire telecommuters. Don't give up I telecommute and love it every day!
