Hi!
I was wondering what you ladies thought of lattise? It was originally made for glaucoma, and they realized it lengthened
peoples eyelashes. My SIL and Neice both use it, and their eyelashes are BEAUTIFUL!!
I get paranoid, about using something that has only been around for a year. Same way with Botox.
I really want to try latisse, but fear sets in..wondering if a few years down the line..they will say it causes eye problems
and other health problems. Scary when it comes to your eyesight. etc....
What are your thoughts? Are you a chance taker..or just go for it?

What can I do next?

Personally, I would never use it. As with all medications there are risks and side effects. It's just not worth it.

I also agree with you, who knows what might happen in 5 or 10 years?

I would never even consider it? Risking permanent discolorations and other side effects for longer eyelashes? REALLY? I don't see the appeal of that at all! In my opinion they have found a way to make money with a NON-issue.

Funny you asked this, because I've been researching this today.

I've been using Latisse on and off for a year or so, and it really works. You don't have to worry about eye problems and other health problems. They've been using the active ingredient in Latisse to treat glaucoma for years.

The reason I was researching it, is because it can potentially turn blue or green eyes brown permanently. According to many, that has not happened yet from Latisse. I thought my eyes might seem slightly darker, which is why I was researching it. But if my eyes were brown, I wouldn't worry about using Latisse at all.

I would never use it. Arbonne actually has a lash enhancer that uses botanical ingredients to promote the growth of lashes. There are no side affects with the Arbonne lash enhancer as there is with Latisse. I would be too afraid of the long term affects of Latisse. check out the Arbonne lash enhancer.

I have seen people get really amazing results with Latisse, but yes there are side effects. You should do some research and decide for yourself if you feel the benefits outweigh the potential risk. And just FYI-Botox has been around for decades.

Another mom was asking about this. I had suggested a good mascara and focusing on the ends to make them look fake. It really works for me. I am starting to think... maybe some people have lighter, fairer eyelashes than i do. Maybe this does not work?
