I am 5 days late and feel like I will get my period any second. I have cramping on and off and breast soreness. the only other time I have ever been late was when I was pregnant with my son, however I never had any period symptoms any ideas would be appreciated! Thank You in advance!!!
Thanks Girls I really appreciate all the advice....I took a home test it was positive!!! so I have an appt with my doc this week.
I got those exact syptoms when I got pregnant. I would cramp on and off, but my period would never come. Once I was 8 days late, I took the test and it came back positive.
My first question would be why you haven't taken a test yet? Every pregnancy will probably be different. I'm sure you are probably pregnant especially if your breast are more tender that they are with your menstruals. Get a test to be sure.

I have 4 children (and had 2 micarriages) and I can assure you that each preg is different in some way from all others. Definitely take a home test or go to your doctor for a test. Even if it's neg if your period doesn't start in another few days take another one. Most tests these days predict pretty early but sometimes you need a later test to know for sure.
When i was pregnant with my son, i did not have any period symptoms. However with my daughter, i felt like i was going to get my period any minute. After 5 days my husband suggested i take a pregnancy test to rule it out......surprise....i was pregnant. I would just take a test to see. Good luck and if it's positive.....CONGRATS!!
I had those symptoms when I was preggers...the best thing to do is just take a home test :)

When I was pregnant with my son (I have a Caleb too), I felt like that. I was cramping, extremely tired, and had other weird symptoms. I felt a weird heaviness in my lower abdomen and was having regular heartburn while in the shower. I felt like I was about to start my period, but somehow knew that it wouldn't be coming.
Also, when I had a big ovarian cyst, I felt like that too. I skipped periods for 3 months, but constantly felt like I was about to start. I eventually had to go to the doctor to get medicine to disolve it and make my periods start back.
I thought the same thing...that I would get my period at any moment. I just knew I would start. I was standing talking to my friend, smoking a cig, when I was advised to take a test b/c I needed to quit smoking if I was prego. So I took one and I was pregnant. If I were you I would take a test! Of course just because I felt exactly the same way doesn't mean you are pregnant, but to me it sounds like you should take a test! Good luck!
First- don't panic. If there is absolutely no chance that you could be pg, then, wait another 5 days. You will probably get your period by then. If there is a chance, then, get a pg test. Good luck, take some tylenol and try things to make you relax- a warm bath, heating PAD, herbal teas.
