Candy Corn relay race. Decide on no. of teams, probably 3, that would be 6 per team. Have them count off by 3's and tell them to remember their no. Place candy corns in plastic bowl. Goal: pick up candy corns with big spoon, run to other end where empty bowl is, dump in, return to next player, first team to empty their bowl wins.

Same teams, have 3, 3 piece costumes, play the Costume Relay Race. Place items in a big shopping bag. Go with a theme Cowboy = big boots, vest, bandana or cowboy hat; Hawaiian = hawaiian shirt, big flip flops, sunglasses or straw hat, etc. Each child puts on the costume runs to the other side takes off, places in bag and returns bag...

party walk. lay # papers in 2 circles - 9 each,
- each kid stands on a paper.
- kids walk as you sing some song link 'c.a.n.dy, c.a.n.dy. c.a.n.dy, we want some candy!'
- kids stop on a paper. draw a #.
- kid on paper in each circle gets a pencil/candy/reward.
- remove that # from the circles.
- go around 3 to 4 times so 6 - 8 rewards.

I just wrote an entire response, hit send, and it disappeared, so I apologize if it shows up again later.

Anyway, my suggestions:
Get one of your favorite Halloween books, and read it to them in class. If you don’t have any, check the library, bookstore, or borrow from a friend. Kids love this.

Teach them some simple, silly Halloween songs and incorporate hand and face gestures and body movements to add to the silliness!

BATS (to the tune of Are You Sleeping?)
Bats are sleeping.
Bats are sleeping.
Upside down

Waiting for the night to come

Fly around.

DID YOU EVER SEE A PUMPKIN? (to the tune of Did You Ever See a Lassie?)
Did you ever see a pumpkin, a pumpkin, a pumpkin?
Did you ever see a pumpkin with no face at all?
With no eyes and no nose and no mouth and no teeth
Did you ever see a pumpkin with no face at all?

So I made a Jack-o-lantern, Jack-o-lantern, Jack-o-lantern. (sing this part fast!)
So I made a Jack-o-lantern with a big funny face!
With big eyes and a big nose and a big mouth and a big tooth.
So I made a Jack-o-lantern with a big funny face.

I was also going to suggest frosting and decorating plain Halloween sugar cookies, but if the teacher doesn’t want crafts, she probably won’t want this activity.

Good luck. Hope all of you have a fun party!

We had a mom do a game with a plastic pumpkin- the kind you use for trick or treating- and some gummy body parts- they were not edible and came in a package with a nose, an eye, a finger and I think an ear. Each kid got one and they split into two teams to see which team could make the "halloween stew" first by throwing their parts in the pumpkin one at a time. All the kids loved it and they got to keep their body part too. I'm not sure where she got the body parts- walmart or the dollar store- you could also use plastic bugs or other halloween items.
How long is the party? Ours are usually 45mins to 1 hr. With serving of food/snack and drinks- it sounds like you have enough to keep everyone pretty busy.
