This may sound a little corny but how about Jello in different colors and shapes. You can buy inexpensive cookie cutters and create fun shapes that may be theme related.

Good luck!

Maybe pulled pork or chicken? You can make it easily in a crock pot. Sounds like a fun party.

We had a lua for my daughters 5th B-day. The kids really enjoyed the smoothies. Use the net for some recipies and ask a few friends to borrow blenders. This way you can have a few flavors going at the same time.
Cut fruit is also a BIG hit! Good Luck & ENJOY!

I am not sure how many people are coming, but you could make fruit cocktail. Depending on your creativity, you can cut a watermelon into two halves, carve out the melon with a melon baller and then you have two bowls to put all your fruit in. Fruit is in season, so you should be able to do this with a reasonable price, and have plenty to go round. Hope this helps!

I'd say meatballs, or "lava rocks".

I make them for my family and there is always so friggin' many left over. The bread crumbs make it very, very filling so 4 meatballs per person is more than enough. If you made 4 lbs of ground beef meatballs or turkey meatballs, at about 3 bucks per pound, you'll be in business.

How about a fresh fruit kabob! Pineapple, banana, maraschino cherries, and anything else handy or tropical. Serve cool whip on the side for dipping
