Please, please help. I am in need of a good boarding kennel for my dog in the coppell area. We were not going to have to board him but now we do and I am in need of a good place. I am nervous about doing this so need advice . He has never been crated or left. I know it is harder on me than him. ha ha Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

What can I do next?

Valley Ranch pet clinic does boarding ###-###-####. We have also used pete and mac's in Las Colinas www.petemac.com ###-###-####. There is also a new boarding place on Macarthur behind the shopping center where Empress of China is. I can't remember the name but it looked really nice.

Well, it's not in Coppell but we left our 2 (wonderful) pugs in a kennell in Carrollton. Here is the website! It's awesome and they really dedicate lots of time to your hairy kids.

We've been using Toothacres for many, many years and they are great!

If you board your dog with a vet, they will be crated all day and only let out for a short walk.

You can get pics of the different runs and pricing.

I live in Dallas and drive up there with my 3 dogs. They are the best!

Hope this helps!

Creature Comforts ###-###-#### I have met her and would use her in a heartbeat for my pets. Then they get to stay at home and be comfortable when you are gone.

I will be boarding my dog for the first time next month, and after checking out several places plan to use The Dog Lofts in Flower Mound. While I initially was put off that they do not have an outdoor play area, it occurred to be that while I'm on vacation it will probably be in the 100s here, so the large, air-conditioned play area with great big windows and faux grass seemed on second thought like a better idea anyway.

The basic price covers only the kennel crates, but I plan to pay the extra $12 daily for the all-day play in the play area with crating only after hours (except for pups who can't get along with others and must be returned to their crates.)

They have separate areas for small and large dogs, and webcams in the play areas so you can check up on your "baby" while you are away. Some crates are in webcam view also, but it's too dark to see anything at night.

I also like that they are open every day, so if you return from travels late Saturday to mid-Sunday, you don't have to wait until Monday to pick up your pet.

Depending on exactly where in Coppell you are located, The Dog Lofts is probably a 15- to 20-minute drive from you.

Good luck!

We have boarded our dogs at Valley Ranch Pet Clinic - but you can't beat Pappy's Pet Lodge www.pappyspetlodge.com/
They are incredible. It would be a little bit of a drive, but so worth it. You can even view them on the webcam if you sign them up for playtime during the day.
