My daughter is getting a wii for Christmas. She will be 6 in Jan. I would like to get her one of the Just Dance games. Do I get the regular one or do I get her the one for kids? I'm worried if I get her the kids one she will be too old for it, or outgrow it too fast.
We got the Just Dance 2 last year for my daughter (and me) when she was 7 and she loves it. She had no problem with it at all. We're getting her the Just Dance 3 this year.

we went for the adult one - because i don't think i could handle the music of the kid one.
My daughter is 6yrs old. We have the kids one and there are songs on there she struggles with. I think for this age depending on your child I would say get the kids one and down the road get the older one for her. I am 30yrs old and I can't even do some of the kids one. :(
My boys [6 and 3] were not interested in the kids one, even though they like to dance. I found it annoying too. I'd get the older one so it interests you too.
We have the Just Dance for Kids 1 and all 3 of the Just Dance (older versions). I have a 6 year old and 2, 3 year olds. My 6 year old loves the Just Dance for Kids...there are age ranges on the songs. Some are younger songs like ABC and the Saints go Marching, but there are "older" kids songs like Who let the Dogs out. There is also a Just Dance for Kids 2 that just came out although I am not sure what songs are on it. Being an avid Just Dance fan I will say that Just Dance 3 is pretty difficult. I use them as workouts and I will say that many of the songs are hard to do as they are pretty fast paced. Also, there is 1 song in particular that I wouldn't want to see my daughter dance like. Basically it is ALOT of hip thrusting and sexy, booty shaking. Just Dance 1 and 2 are not as difficult.
We bought the regular one for our 4 yo. He and I will play it together! We rented Just Dance 2 and got hooked!
My daughter loved the kids one. It has a wide variety of songs. The Just Dance 2 might be too hard for her. Some songs require a lot of exact movement for the older one.
For my daughter's 6th birthday I went with the kids version. It was played once and she refuses to play it again..."mom it's so boring". Santa is getting Just Dance 3.
