Is there a link between zodiac sign and character

aaahhhhh I have a Sag who is 18 now! they are fun fun fun! my best parenting advice is 1. get her chart done and 2. if you will back off a little and keep the child in bounds, they are very sensitive and will be more upset at a wrong than a dicipline! they usually don't require full contact parenting.
Q: how many sag's does it take to change a light bulb?
A: how does everyone else feel about the change? and the lightbulb? what about the lightbulbs needs?

Haha! Good luck. Don't have a Sagittarius daughter but I am one and am married to a Sag, also. I never really put much stock in Astrological signs until I realized that the Sag one fits me perfectly. That said- expect independence, bull headedness and a great sense of adventure. I'm with the "making her think it was her idea" concept,also- altho I believe Sags are such independent thinkers that might be a challenge in itself. Keep her outdoors a lot, active,let her explore. On the bright side- they are usually "game" for anything.

I am a "fourple saggitarian"....a sag with sag rising and 2 planets in Sag.....I'm not a kid but I'm a nanny and early education teacher and have been for 25 years.....I'm all sag....anything I can help with?

I do have a sagittarius daughter who is now grown and I will tell you they are very independent, quick thinkers, very intellgent, stubborn but yet can be the life of the party. They learn quickly but can also be bored just as quickly. Their minds always have to be moving a mile a minute. Make sure you keep them active and/or involved in activities or they will become lazy. You may worry about her and she may cause you some heartaches further down the road, but she will surprise you when one day out of the blue she grows up and gets it and will become a wonderful adult.

Read up on her sign and yours and the compatibilty just because theres negative dosent mean its a wall that you cant over come. Just need to learn how to work with eachother.

All I know is I am a sagittarius girl and I drove my mother crazy, too.

I think she'll come around about age 25.

Hello again, M.. I spoke to you before - my 14 year old is a M. too. Both my 10 year old and I are Sagittarius' and I can tell you that we are stubborn, independent and strong in personality. We tend to like travel (read: adventures) but we also like for things to be “just so.” We have a sense of order (which, if mine is anything like me, she’ll NOT display that in her teen years with any semblance of order – my room was a pigsty). But, when I grew up, I quickly learned that if I didn’t do it, it wouldn’t get done.
My Sag is very sweet and is well loved by all who meet her but among her peers, she fights the urge to be the boss of everyone. She’s sporty, slightly girly, and loves two things more than life – collecting “things” and exploring. She is inquisitive about everything and see-saws between being heartbroken that she might have hurt someone’s feelings and being carelessly rude or overly blunt with someone.
The best thing you can do for your Sag is to let her have as much independence as you are comfortable with and when drawing the line somewhere, pick your battles carefully. She’ll appreciate clear boundaries. With mine, I find it helpful to draw the line at matters involving her safety and her morals.
Sag’s hate above all else being told what to do. They sometimes need to be “tricked” into believing what you want them to do was their idea in the first place. Good luck.

I am a sagittarius. This personality type is extroverted, meaning they usually make friends easily and get their energy from other people. Since you are homeschooling, make sure she has plenty of social opportunities with other children her own age. It should be a good outlet for her.

My sis is a Sagittarius so I understand your plight but can't really give any advice other than to check out some of the websites, some are REALLY informative. http://www.astrology-online.com/aries.htm is really good. Also, wikipedia.com can offer some info too! Just do a general search on sagittarius astrological sign & some should come up but the link I gave you is the one I'd recommend other than wikipedia. There's one, can't think of the name off-hand...sorry...that will tell you what signs are compatible w/each other, like for marriage or relationships in general. Good luck!
