Do Any of You Have Aquarius Children? Kids & Astrology...

I'm curious... I haven't ever put much stock into astrology... but I have a book called ''Baby Signs'' and its about raising kids of different zodiac signs. Both of my girls happen to be aquarius. The book actually does tend to be insightful as the years go on, oddly enough.

How much stock do you put into astrology when relating to your kids, if at all? What sign is/are your children?? Are they typical for their sign?

What can I do next?

sun signs are only a fraction of the story. my kids aren't so much typical for being a libra and a pisces but if you look at the entirety of their charts it's much more bang on.
i think astrology is interesting and offers some fascinating insights, but i would never recommend that anyone put too much stock in it to the point of having expectations of a kid 'because she's a gemini' or excusing behavior or otherwise putting kids in boxes because of their sun signs.

my daughter is a cancer---my granddaughter is also a crab---she is like a clone of her mother as a child, from the get go----i am an aries---dead on to astrology books----lind goodman's book is very good---do not believe in 'daily' horoscope stuff, but personality traits seem to be accurate-consistantly--just watch/listen to people when in a group!!!

Astrology is kinda fun, I don't put much stock into it but as a teenager I just HAD to read my horoscope every day.
I'm pretty typical for my sign, Cancer. My boys are Gemini and Taurus and both seem to live up to what the signs represent. It is weird how our signs seems to mold us in a way-- those of us that have read up on them anyway. However there are always exceptions to the rule.
I do believe tho, that those of us that have read up on our signs, probably pick up some of the traits just because we've read it and make it sort of a fullfilled prophesy just by the power of our minds. Brainwashing of sorts. To some it is almost a religion. I think astrology peaked in the 60's and has had it's trickle down affect on us ever since.

My oldest is an aquarius, and she is totally free spirited, creative, sweet and kind like the other Aquarians I know! She is the force that drives our otherwise fire house (I'm a leo dragon, my husband is an Aries, and our youngest daughter is a sagittarius)!

I don't put too much faith in it but some of the personality stuff can seem pretty right on sometimes..

Both my mother and sister are aquarius,I don't really get along with them that much and I don't have aquarius friends either for some reasons..Most same-sign people share same traits but some don't (I,myself am not a typical cancer either)...either way, my son is cancer and I am curious to see what that means. So I guess astrology is good if taken with a grain of salt...

She is a scorpio... she isn't intense or moody like they are "supposed" to be, but she does have an excellent memory and is curious about the world. I think most of it fits her from this website.

Astrology is fun, but I don't take it too seriously. When I checked my horoscopes (after the day is done) they never fit the day I actually had. My personality is somewhat a gemini but not really. I think a lot of astrology traits are just typical of most people so it's easy to get sucked in.

I'm a gemini and as a child I didn't resemble those traits except for only accepting rules if they were logically explained and debating. But I was not the other stuff lol I was quite shy until my high school years.

My oldest is an aquarius (water bearer) I have a whole scrapbook page dedicated to her sign in her baby scrapbook. I think astrology can pinpoint traits and nothing else. But its still fun to read.

I'm Capricorn (Asian sign Ox), and our son is Scorpio (Tiger).
It's amusing but the descriptions are vague enough they could apply to anybody.
We don't put any stock in it at all.
