hello I have very thick black hair I use 2 boxes of Revlon colorsilk on my hair but I don't like color so today I bought 2 more boxes of garnier nutrisse color. to redo my hair will my hair fall out? HELP
I had a hair color go wrong once.
It came out WAY more red than the box said it would (think Bozo red).
I called the help hotline number on the box and they told me what color to get to tone it down - but I HAD to wait 24 hrs before using it - and then really condition really really well.
Wait the 24 hrs.
I don't know but I don't believe your hair will fall out. Probably damaged.. Yes.
Go to a professional and do it once and be done.

Pay a professional. I would not risk damaging my hair.
My granddaughter has recolored the same day she first colored without difficulty. She has black brown, thick wirey hair. We bought products from a beauty supply store. I suggest you ask them. They are trained beauticians.
Color wont lift color so if you want it lighter you wont be able to do this with box color. If you are darkening it you can do that the next day.
Keep in kind the more times you try to fix it the harder it will be for a professional hairdresser to help you if you end up needing a corrective color.
I would call the numbers on both boxes and ask. BTW, I love Garnier Nutrisse more than any professional coloring I have ever had done!
Are you saying you bleached your hair to a lighter color? Or you use Revlon colorsilk to darken your hair to black?
I only let a professional color my hair. Yes, it's pricey, but it is so worth it. Don't mess with it.
And if you are going to do it anyways, yes, you should wait 24 hours.
