Interest in Hourly/Drop-in Child Care?
Hi! I'm wondering - would you use an hourly/drop-in child care service? Only in a commercial space, or would you be comfortable going to someone's home? How much would you be willing to pay for such a service? As a mom, sometimes I wish there was somewhere I could take my little one to so I can run errands, go to appointments, etc., but I don't know of anything out there. Just curious to know whether or not there are others out there who would like this kind of service. Thanks in advance for your replies! :-)

Hi T.,
I do home daycare out in Surprise with my mom helping me. We have some full time children who come on a regular basis and we also do drop-ins. We charge $5 per hour or $30 per day for drop-ins. We have kids who show up once a week and some we only see every 2-3 months. I am sure there are many home daycare providers who provide this type of service.
Good luck!

There is a commercial place on the opposite side of the street next to PV mall that offers this. I forget the name though :( Good luck

I am in Phoenix and before I started doing regular daycare I tried this. Not much response in it. I think its a great idea still though. I started mine in November and live next to PV Mall so I thought the Holiday shoppers would really like it. I was wrong, or I just didnt advertise enough. I was offering it out my home so maybe a commercial building would work. Good Luck
