In-Home Dog Boarding - Woodridge/surrounding Areas
We are looking for someone who does in-home dog boarding. We have an older yellow lab who has always gone to someone's home for boarding. Due to her age, our vet doesn't recommends a kennel. We are new to the area and need to find someone closer to home.

Thank you to everyone for your great information. I have already contacted a few people and we have a lot of great options to explore. My husband is as particular with finding a good home/sitter for the dog as he is in finding a good preschool for our son. Thank you again for all of your help!

Hi Jodie,
We have an 11yr.old yellow lab & found a wondeful lady who lives in the Hinsdale area to take him into her home when we went out of town a few times. We will use her again over Spring Break. Her name is:Laura Morse and here is her email add:____@____.com I have her phone # as well-try emailing her first-good luck, I'm sure your dog will be very happy at her home.

Hi J.,
I live in Villa Park which isn't far from Woodridge. I have a neighbor who boards dogs in her home. My questions to you are. For how long? Is your lab healthy? (No potty accidents) Does your lab get along with other dogs?
Let me know. DawnP

I know an excellent, trustworthy pet sitter. She is insured and bonded. I'm not sure if she goes to Woodridge, but give her a call to see. It's not horribly far from where she is at. Her website is http://heatherspawprints.com/ She comes to your house 3-4 times per day. That way the dog stays in her own environment so it's much less stress fo you and the dog. She also brings in your mail, turns lights on & off, etc.... Her phone number is ###-###-####

It's not terribly close to you but there's an in-home border in Joliet called Aunt Colleen's. My neighbors have used her for years. She has her own dogs so your dog must be social. My neighbors dog always came home looking like he had a vacation too.
