Ideas for Computer Programs or Websites for Toddlers
We just got a new laptop, so I want to set up my old one for our girls, ages 17 months and almost 3. I am looking for suggestions for toddler appropriate educational software or free websites. This would be their first real expericne with using a computer.

For software- I highly recommend Jump Start or Disney ( specifically Winnie the Pooh ). My daughter has been using them since the age of 3 and is quite proficient with them now. You can also find free games on these web sites.

We got Jumpstart Preschool for my kids when they were 2 and 3. It's wonderful and you would not believe how quickly they learned to navigate the computer. It amazed me!

Hi K.,
My daughter is 2 and we have fun with the scholastic.com website. It has Clifford, etc. on there. She loves to read, so this really relates to what she sees in her favorite books. Kind of brings it to life :)
Have a great one!
