hello moms! i'm looking for a fun, perhaps girly place for my daughter to spend her 4th Birthday. we're not having any guests , so i just wanted to take her somewhere great so she can enjoy her day. i was looking in NY (Manhattan area) or NJ (somewhere North Jersey, not too far from NY)
she loves Princess/Girly stuff
also she 's very active - maybe Jumping thing/ indoor playground can work/ Children's museum type place...
if any one has any suggestions , please share, Thank YOU!

Check out Harmony Tea Room in Westwood New Jersey. I took my four neices this past year and had a great time. They also host Princess tea parties. You could take her there and then somewhere to play - someone else mentioned the Children's museum in Paramus - I have not been yet but it is close to Westwood so you could make a day of it and do both. http://www.harmonytearoom.com/index.html

Liberty Science Center is in Jersey City. My son liked the Paramus Children's museum but he went with my sister so I haven't seen it. I think the Wayne YMCA has an indoor playground.

Imagine That in Florham Park, NJ (off of I 287) is really fun -- 37 differently themed rooms to play, climb, and pretend. It costs about $9/person. They have a website, you can google it. It's a ton of fun.
