I would like to have another child. But the problem is that I was diagnosed with PCOS. I didn't know what that was until I did a research on the internet. I heard of clomid but i don't have the money for that now is there any other alternative for me into having another child?
sorry julie b. but i'd rather spend my money on my children then having to spend a whole lot of money just for consultations, pills, and meetings. as it is i already spend alot on my daughter and i have no problem with that. but just for pills! hell no!
yes, homeopathic treatment will be very helpful as long as you find homeopath who is not an MD. depending on the area you are in and particular charging policy, the whole thing may cost you, but still will be cheaper than conventional approach. Look up Gabriel Traub in San Diego - it seems to me that she specializes in fertility.

I had PCOS before having my first child as well as small fibroids. I had a hysteroscopy, but insurance covered it. Was able to easily get pregnant thereafter without any drugs.
I have PCOS and take metformin and clomid. I am pretty sure clomid is rather cheap. You can get prego w/out clomid. The problem with PCOS is you most likely you do not ovulate on a regular basis. Do you get periods? If you do, you can easily buy an ovulation predictor kit and test everyday until you get a positive result. Walgreens has kits with around 30 tests. Good luck. I was at Target getting clomid :) and it is VERY cheap. It is one of their $10 rx's.
From the quick research I just did online it sounds like you have to get the PCOS under control to be able to get pregnant and also to prevent other conditions like diabetes. Evidently weight loss and exercise help; but I would consult your OB/GYN and then possibly and endocronologist as PCOS is a hormone-related problem. You need to consider your own health first in order to have a successful pregnancy. Good luck.

I havePCOS and Adenomyosis so bad that a hysterectomy was suggested. Um, no thanks. I did Progestelle and chiropractic care - had 2 more babies....and gave birth to them all at home....no issues.
My mom had 8 miscarriages and was told to have a hyterectomy and she told them where they could go. She started with chiropractic care and a vegetarian diet and got pregnant with me, pregnancy #9 AND her first full-term pregnancy and then my brother.
I have a friend who has PCOS and is severly overweight. They did clomid with #1 and then after the birth, she found out she wasn't ovulating. She literally got adjusted by a chiropractor in Illinois ONCE and got pregnant.
We had our first child after 7yrs of trying on and off I kinda had a feeling that I had PCOS but was never told for sure that I did by a MD. However when our Son was 6 months old I was diagnosed by my endo that I did in fact have PCOS I was put on metformin and when my Son was 10 months old we found out we are expecting again.
