I also have United Healthcare. We go to All About Children Pediatrics. My girls see Dr. Hooker. They both LOVE her!!! We usually never have to wait very long to get an appointment. They also have some PA's and others to get you in if you REALLY need to. They are building a huge office next to the one that they are currently in. I think it'll help so much once they get in there.

We see Dr. Jeff Alvis off Lake Forest and Virginia. We had United and they took that. He has a nurse practitioner, Betsy, that we see most of the time and she's fabulous!

I have to second Centennial Pediatrics. We live in McKinney too, but they aren't too far - even though they're technically Frisco (121 and Coit). We see Dr. Newton and LOVE HIM! My oldest doesn't mind going to the dr. at all and has been seeing Dr. Newton since he was 4 months old (he's 2 1/2 now).

Dr. Cheryl Eley with Children's Choice Pediactrics. Their number is ###-###-####. she is an awesom doctor. We tried two other pedi. offices here in McKinney before discovering Dr. Eley. I highly recommend her!

I used to see Dr. Todd Burton and hated his office, they were always over booked. Every appointment took HOURS, he never remembered me or my child, and always contradicted himself. I used ABC Pediatrics, Dr. Dugopowski and Dr. Chen. The office is quick to get you in, the have Saturday hours, and both doctors are so sweet. They are a great office, and are not swamped!!

I take my son to Dr. Todd Burton at All About Children Pediatrics and I'm pretty sure they accept United Healthcare. His office is on Eldorado, next to Mr. Gattis pizza. The entire staff is so friendly, and all the rooms are painted in different themes. They also have big fish tank, toys, and a tv in the waiting room. My son actually likes going there.
