I always season my meat, but that's my preference.

Also depends on what you are cooking it for the mail purpose of.

I put mine in, and season with garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, and minced onion. Then put just a little water in, or broth like maybe 1/2 inch. Not 2. The broth keeps it juicier than water and gives it a really nice flavor.

On LOW heat= 8 hour cook time
On HIGH= 4 hour cook time

It doesn't take that much liquid. About 1/2 inch maybe. Cook on low no more than 4 hours; high no more than 8 hours.

I just cooked some split (bone-in) chicken breasts in the crock pot last week. I put them in and put some salt and pepper on them and let them cook on low for about 8 hours. I did NOT add water and they were fine. :-)

I cook chicken breasts in the crock pot all the time. I just put them in there (fresh or frozen) with a can of cream of chicken soup and a can of either cheddar cheese soup or cream of mushroom soup. Yum!

Yes that should work. If you like seasoning add some otherwise with boned breasts I would cook 7 hours if you are cooking at least a pound on low. go to www.allrecipes.com for some more ideas. Love...love that website and cooking chicken in a crockpot. :)
