Hi Mommas! Do any of you have any suggestions of how to get glue from a hot glue gun out of fabric? My son's favorite red skatboarding shirt has hot glue on it thanks to a fellow classmate from art class. Unfortunatley washing it with Spray & Wash didn't work, I did not dry it so as not to set it even more.

Try putting the shirt in the freezer for a while then scraping the glue off with a butter knife or putty knife.
There is a solvent type liquid called "Goo-Gone" that may also do the trick. You may have to use "Spray-n-Wash to get the oily residue off, but I've used it to get gum out of carpet and it worked fast.

Good Morning!
Try placing ice on the area affected. This should make the glue hard enough to come off. Ice is an old remedy for me, maybe it will work for you....

This works on synthetics like carpets are made from. I tried it and it really works.
Put some waxed paper over the spot, iron over the spot carefully. Waite a few seconds and lift the waxed paper off the spot. The glue should come up nicely.
Good luck..I hope this works for you..

I would try to heat the other side with an iron...with the glue over some paper towels. The only other idea I would have would be to freeze it first and pull off what you can get a hold of, and then do the iron thing. After that I would spray and wash and soak it in oxyclean overnight to remove any greasy looking stain.

put it in the freezer for an hour and try to peel it off, spray some goo gone on it (or other orange cleaner like it, watch for colorfastness as it can bleed some colors)and then wash by hand or toss back in washer, take some paper towels and layer them on top of each other on top of the glue while using an iron on low to med to warm the glue and the towels to absorb it.

Good luck!
