I had a c-section at both of them. We also had NICU both times. I was MUCH happier at Plano Presby. My last baby was 21 months ago at Presby so it was pretty recent. The ER at Plano Medical has a better reputation, but for everything else I would go to Presby. My OB is Eric Jacoby and he is awesome. http://www.personalizedwomenshealthcare.com/physicians/er...

My sister in law delivered there twice by c-section using Dr Herzog and she loves him.

Good Luck!

I had a c-section at presby on my #8 and they were great. I truly prefer non-profit hospitals over corporate hospitals.

If you want to know of a great ob there, briant herzog, ###-###-####.

My doctor worked out of both hospitals. She said her office is at Plano Medical Center, so thats where I chose. I also had a c-section and I had a wonderful experience with this hospital. The staff was great and very caring. I also heard taht both hospitals are exceptional. Good Luck! Congrats!

I love Medical Center of Plano. I had our daughter there 13 yrs ago (good experience). My husband was in ICU there due to a very bad car accident and the care he received was superior (he is great now and has no issues from the accident), I had a hysterectomy there which went wonderfully and we have been to the ER a couple of times.

I can't say enough good things about the hospital and the ER.

I have delivered at both hospitals and had great experiences at both of them. My now 2 1/2 yr old was in NICU at Medical Center of Plano and I loved the nurses there! I also had an appendectomy there and had a great experience. Administratively speaking, Medical Center of Plano is much easier to deal with. We are having a hard time with Presby's billing deptartment right now after the birth of my 3 month old. You really can't go wrong with either hospital. I was actually a little disappionted when I found out I could deliver my youngest at Medical Center of Plano.

I had a c-section at Medical Center of Plano and really enjoyed my experience there. As much as you can enjoy a major surgery. My daughter was breech, so I only had a week's notice that I was going to have a C-section. The nursing staff was very kind, patient and supportive and ALL about me and my baby. I would highly recomend them and they have recently remodeled the whole maternity floor, it is very cozy. As long as you are comfortable with your doctor, I think MCP is a great hospital to have a c-section in.
