Hi everone. Don't even know if I'm allowed to post this and I honestly don't even have the details, but my parents have a hospital bed that my uncle bought outright. The also have a scooter with a rechargable battery (I think it's called the roll around?). The hospital bed is one where it goes up and down - electric I'm pretty sure.
My uncle is in a nursing home now and they need to get rid of both of these items as they are selling his home for him. They are FREE to anyone who is interested in picking them up from the house where they are which is near Jackson, NJ (just down the road a few miles from Six Flags Great Adventure). Is anyone interested in either or both of these? You would have to bring a truck or something big enough and enough manpower to move the items as my parents are older and can't help to lift either item.

forgot to mention my father spent half the day today calling every local charity, group, organization trying to donate it. No luck. Nobody had the room to store it.

You might want to try calling St. Vincent De Paul.
maybe look into charities, home nursing, shelters for elderly... they could likely find someone or craigslist free section.
Try freecycle.org It is pretty active in NJ.
