Home Cleaning Services - Elgin,IL

I used them once years ago and like the previous poster did not ask them back. They chipped my toilet tank cover and had excuses as to why they could not do certain jobs I wanted done. I did not care for them at all.

I personally do not like them. I have used them a few times as well and the service has been horrible. It didn't seem like I was getting a clean home for the price I was paying which seemed really expensive compared to other cleaning services. The first time I used them they "forgot" to come and didn't even credit me just had me reschedule. I should have learned then!

I had Merry Maids come to my house once. I didn't ask them to come back. But each team is different. The ladies who came to my house were a little clumsy. One scratched a table and chipped a dish. The big thing for me is that they wouldn't wax my floors. That is what I wanted done the most, but they were unfamiliar with the wax and didn't want to use it. I suggest you try them, if you don't like the team you get sent, you could ask for another one to try...

I used the Merry Maids on Chicago Ave. for a couple of months before I canceled my service. The cleaning ladies were fine, but I had nothing but problems with the administration and billing. I'm sure each location is different, however.

I used the Merry Maids out of Valparaiso once & that was the last time I would ever use them. They did not clean several mirrors in my house, did not wipe down cabinets, walls, baseboards & claimed that they only do that for an extra charge, although I had paid for there "deep clean" service. They were not worth the price at all.
