Help! I Need a Pet Sitter for My Pug!
Hello moms, I am hoping you are able to help me out...I have a 3yr. pug that has NEVER had to be boarded. I am hoping that someone can give me some references that they use. She is a great dog, and very well behaved, but I think that if she had to be kenneled all day and night at a boarding facility she may become stressed out. She is our family and I am hoping to find somewhere she will be comfortable and happy. Any help would be appreciated!

I had the same problem last year with my Pug. I ended up taking him to Dogs Rule Resort in Carrollton. The dogs run free all day and are put in a room at night. The rooms are abour 3'x5' rooms. I bring his bed, food and toys. It is $33 a day. He had never been boarded before this and I was worried too. My dog loves it. When we get there, Maximus pulls us to the back room because he can't wait to be with other dogs. They have inside and outside play yards. I second Debi A. She has done pet sitting for us a few times and we really like her.
Like you, our dogs have never been boarded in a kennel and that is not an option for our fur babies.
We will certainly use Debi again.

I totally understand how our animals are PART of the family. I too feel that way.
Depending on where you live I would be willing to pet sit for you. I have a special needs 19 1/2 year old siamese who is the love of my life.
