I want to find a way to make al little extra $ while staying at home with my ds. I've have heard about taking online surveys for money. Has anyone ever done them with success or do you think that they are all scams? I tried one and it said that I had to do two things before I could continue. those two things where subscriptions for different stores and clubs (that cost money) so I didn't go any further.

I hope that this post is allowed...it doesn't have anything to do with children but in a round about way it does. I want to make money but don't want to babysit on weekends to do it. I do daycare in my home and just want to so something else to earn money when I'm now working. I hope that makes sense.

What can I do next?

I do surveys for Greenfieldonline.com (have made about 100 or so in the past year) and MyView (have made about 50 or so in the past 18 months).

I also do some mystery shopping for various sites. Secretshopper.com, sassieshops.com and a few others.

I do some survey's online and have made some money as well as gift cards. One my son did even and he got a gift card from Target. It's pretty cool! Here are some of the ones I do:

And do you know about the Bzzagent website?
It is pretty neat. It is not for money..But they send you samples of things and you tell your friends about it. You eanr points for the surverys and there are items you can get with them.

Good luck to you.
And please let me know if you find other good ones. I would love to hear about them. :)

I tried but it got so frustrating. You go through the trial questions to see if you qualify which takes a good 10 or 15 minutes then finally you think you are going to take it, then you get the big box that says you don't qualify. It just wasn't worth the time to do anymore. So I gave up and won't do it again. That was my experience.

I haven't done online surveys but there is a place in Milwaukee/Waukesha called Lein Speigelhoff I have done surveys for. I did a bean bag diaper testing for $100, a political survery for $100, a dusting survey and many others. (they even have an in home diaper testing survey) They are a known company. I would much rather give my info to them than to a possible internet spammer. You can find Lein Speigelhoff in your internet search engine.

I think anything that wants personal information, like cc numbers or banking information, or ss numbers are scams.
As well as anyone that asks you to send them money or you need to sign up that costs money. I personally wouldn't do it under those conditions.
Good luck, I am also a daycare provider, I know money can be tight :)
