Haircut for Child Who Butchered Her Own Hair

My four year old daughter cut her bangs the other day while I was in the bathroom. She actually did a pretty good job. I should not have told her that. The next day, she discovered where I had hidden the sscissors and gave herself another haircut. It is NOT pretty. I need a place in the Fort Worth or Arlington area that can work with this mess. Her hair was a longish bob, but now there are parts that come to the middle of her ear. I am looking for a salon that will be able to "fix" her hair without giving her a little boys haircut. I have nothing against Fantastic Sam's or Cool Cuts or the like. It just seems to me that the level of expierence is just not there. So Moms, please...help. If she weren't so young, I would consider a perms so that the short spots weren't SOOO noticeable, but not sure that would really work. Plus, she is just too young and her scalp still too tender.

My suggestion would be to go to the Ogle school in Fort Worth. Haircuts only cost $9 and a lot of people that go to high dollar salons and get their hair messed up go there to get it fixed and end up much happier with the results they get from the students. Plus they have the instructors there to supervise and check the haircut. It couldn't hurt to go in and get a consultation at least. They have daytime and evening appointments. Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday because they get super busy the rest of the week. Hope this helps.

My recommendations are Great Clips or Shelton's Salon on Park Row in Arlington. I've taken my boys to Great Clips and I've gone to Shelton's. They both do a magnificent job. Good luck.
