I colored my hair when I was prego with both my children. No problems. -- My only advice is to do in an open space, so the fumes don't bother you, in case you are more sensitive to smell/odor during pregnancy.

I colored my hair every 3 months I was pregnant thru 2 pregnancies. My OB said it was fine to do.

I am a hairstylist as well, and it is safe to color your hair. The only problem is that the color may turn a little different thatn usual (it does on mine when I color it during pregnancy as well).

I researched during pregnancy, everything said it was reasonably safe. I colored every six weeks - no horror stories.

Being a stylist I want to say that it fine to color/hilight your hair. You might notice the smell a little more and such but IT WILL NOT HURT YOU OR THE BABY. Congrats and good luck.

It's safe. Some dr.'s will tell you in your first trimester not to do it, just because your first trimester you have a higher risk of miscarriage. Nothing due to coloring your hair, but they said to avoid stuff so that women don't blame themselves for causing the miscarriage, since you don't really know a lot of the times why you miscarried. Hope that makes sense. But other wise it's ok. I colored my hair with both kids a couple of times while I was pregnant. They came out fine.
