Hello Mamapedia Community!
M. here. As some of you may recall, I was the previous site Moderator for Mamapedia, before Jillian took over those duties. Well, as it turns out, I have been asked to once again resume my community moderation duties -at least for the immediate future. Beginning this week Jillian will be taking her maternity leave, and of course we wish her the very best as she takes some well deserved time off to spend with her family and newborn.
So, in her absence I will be your contact point for any and all community/site related issues and management. I will also be monitoring and responding to all "REPORT" ticket issues that arise. As always, I will strive to be as responsive as possible to all of your needs and concerns and will work diligently to keep Mamapedia the same safe, constructive, and positive environment that we all want and expect it to be.
Thanks to all for your support with this transition, and I very much look forward to working with all of you once more!

Hello Mamapedia community! A HUGE thanks to M. for taking over as moderator in my absence and a big thank you to all of you for the lovely well wishes. We just got home from the hospital yesterday. Baby Flynn Stuart Alinger was born on Tuesday at 12:32pm via a scheduled C-section (a good thing too since he had the cord tightly wrapped around his neck 3 times!). He came out healthy and (in my humble opinion) just perfect. He weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 19 1/4 inches long at birth - not too much hair except for some light brown/blond peach fuzz :) I'm doing pretty well in my recovery but taking it easy - and enjoying every moment of course. Thanks again for all the wonderful support! I look forward to getting back in the saddle come Jan. 1. Until then, I wish you all a joyous holiday season and a great new year! xoxo J.
