Greek Yogurt - Fort Stewart,GA

Do your babies eat Greek yogurt? If so, is it made with 0%, 2% or whole milk? Also, how do you serve it... plain, flavored by the manufacturer, or flavored yourself?

What can I do next?

No. I ate it for 2 weeks after seeing it on Biggest Loser. I got bad gas and stomach aches. It was the oikos? brand.

My kids love Zoi (sp?) brand greek yogurt, we buy the honey flavor and sometimes I add pureed fruit to it. It is made with whole milk so it is really rich and creamy and my skinny little ones need the calories!

We were late starting solids, but greek yogurt was one of his first and favorite foods. We started off with plain 9% or 2%, whichever was available at the store and then started mixing in fruit. Now that he's one and I'm more pressed for time, I often grab the Chobani champion's for kids. They are sweetened, but seem to have less sweetener than their adult focused flavored varieties.

I buy it plain whole milk from trader joes. My baby is over 1 so i like to add honey to it. But i used to just add fruit puree like bananas, mangoes, apricots etc he loves it! I do also sometimes buy the vanilla one to make it easier and I don't add anything to it. He loves it!

Both my kids do, as do I.

When my youngest wasa baby i would just feed it to her plain, now that she is 2 she eats it with raspberries and agave nectar (just like my oldest does)...Usually i buY "Fage" brand which is 0%...but its not always available sometimes i get "Oikos"....and "Dannon" recently came out with a greek yogurt i like. We are vegetarians and are limited to the brand we can buy (most yogurts have gelatin , which is cow bones)

I also use yogurt in place of sour cream, i put paprika, salt, cumin, and coriander on it as a dip or garnish. I put it in smoothies too(soy milk, frozen fruit, yogurt, flax seed).

My 16 month old has been eating it every morning for ages now. I buy the Fage full-fat plain one because she's little and not the greatest eater. It's one of the few things I can always count on her to eat well (I hate to even type that!). I usually mix in about half of a small jar of fruit puree, like pear/mango or raspberry/banana to about half a cup of plain yogurt. The ladies at her daycare are always asking me how I make it because it's so delicious! If you're concerned about organic, Trader Joe's also makes greek yogurt, but it's not as creamy as the Fage.

My three year old is addicted to yoghurt, and he loves Greek style, just plain. I like it too. Sometimes I will put honey in it for a sweet hit.

My babies did...not as much anymore, but they used to love it! It has more protein than regular yogurt so if struggle with them eating it otherwise, this is a good alternative! I usually go the fruit kind flavored by the manufacturer.

Oh and I usually bought the fat free kind b/c that is what I would eat, but I think any are fine. If you're only buying for them then I'd probably do whole or 2% but since my kids were getting whole milk I figured fat free yogurt was fine so we could all share!
