GIRL Or BOY??

Hello,
I am looking to find out if anyone tried for a girl or boy and if there is anything out there that seemed to work?? I have two boys, my husband, and a male dog. I would love to have a little girl when we have our last child. I know there is not any guarentees but I am just curious if anything worked for anyone out there....

What can I do next?

There is a book concerning what Carrie is talking about in her response. My SIL used it and maybe it worked? Who knows for sure... I started to use it, but then I decided to just go with the life flow...whoever was supposed to be born would be born! Anyway, I can't think of the name of it, but I found it in the baby/parenting section at Tattered Cover.

Hi S.,

I am not sure if it really works or not, but they say that a woman on top probably ends up with a baby girl, while "doggie" style helps having a boy. I have a newborn boy and we tried to have a boy following this principle so I believe in it. Good luck to you!

S.,

Girls cells (I have forgotten the name for them) live longer than boys. To have a boy several doctors told me to have sex on the first day one up to 3 days into my the period when I ovulate. If I wanted a girl to have sex days 1 & 2 just before I ovulated because girls live longer. Some doctors I know disagree with this idea however, I tried it with my seconded pregnancy and I had my baby girl my other two births were boys.

I read a book once called "How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby". I think it claimed 80% success for a girl. Since we have such a hard time just getting and staying pregnant, that was always our higher goal, so I never tried it. I do have a friend who tried it and seemed pretty happy with it. We did end up with our little girl afterall. GL!

Adoption.. The only difference is she would not in "your" belly. I adopted and it is no difference
