which Gilbert High School has the best or most active Drama Program? We are relocating to Gilbert and I have a Freshman very interested in a good drama program. also, is there open enrollment for the Gilbert High Schools? thanks

My question to you is where in Gilbert are you moving too? Some areas of Gilbert are serviced by Higley Unified School District so make sure you check that.

I live in Gilbert and I am also a realtor in Gilbert with REMAX 2000! My brother has a music group he gathers from 6 schools in the east valley. He has had 5 highschool kids of his own. SO I hear first hand about all the highschools drama and music depts. I know that Gilbert High School and Mesa High School & Mountain View High School are the BEST for Drama.

We go to Gilbert HS and they do have a great drama program. My daughter has been involved in plays this year and has loved it.
As far as open enrollment, it can be difficult to get into Gilbert HS as a boundary exempted student. Gilbert HS usually only takes 50 exemptions a year. So, try to get into a home within the boundaries. I have heard that Higley High also has improved their drama dept. Williamsfield is a brand new HS in Gilbert as of fall '07. If you like smaller high schools, this may be something to look into. They started this year with just freshmen and sophomores.
